Christopher
The Columbus Day episode: Silvio's crusade, Karen Baccalieri's funeral, and one of the series' most criticised hours.
"Christopher" is the third episode of the fourth season of The Sopranos, first broadcast on HBO on September 29, 2002. Michael Imperioli wrote the teleplay from a story he developed with Maria Laurino, and Tim Van Patten directed. Silvio Dante and the crew set out to sabotage protests against the Columbus Day Parade, which they read as anti-Italian, while Bobby Baccalieri buries his wife Karen after a road accident. Critics often rank it among the weakest episodes of the series, and the episode led the organisers of the 2002 New York City Columbus Day Parade to bar cast members Lorraine Bracco and Dominic Chianese.
