The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake Factory is the restaurant where Penny waits tables, and occasionally tends bar, through most of the series; she trained as a bartender in the first-season episode "The Grasshopper Experiment". The job was meant to be temporary while she pursued acting, and she quits it to focus on acting full time before the seventh season. Bernadette Rostenkowski is introduced as her co-worker there, working to pay for graduate school in microbiology.
