Tetris 99 is a 2019 battle royale puzzle game developed by Arika and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, an online multiplayer adaptation of Tetris. Players drop tetrominoes onto a board and clear rows by filling them; making a "tetris" or a T-spin, or chaining such moves, sends more garbage to opponents. Downloadable content added offline modes including Marathon and CPU Battle.
