Plot
Charles Endell's story begins after the events of Budgie, when he receives a ten-year prison sentence. The series opens with his return to Glasgow, having served seven years with three deducted for good behavior. His aim is to rebuild himself in his hometown, following the dismantling of his London business empire by the vice squad. Upon arrival, he meets with his solicitor, Archibald Telfer, to retrieve his emergency cash. Telfer then apparently dies, and the money vanishes, though Charlie suspects the death is a sham. The six episodes are titled Glasgow Belongs To Me, As One Door Closes Another Slams in Your Face, Slaughter on Piano Street, The Moon Shines Bright on Charlie Endell, Stuff Me a Flamingo, and If You Can't Join 'Em, Beat 'Em. The cast includes Iain Cuthbertson as Charles Endell, Tony Osoba, Rikki Fulton, Phil McCall, Julie Ann Fullarton, Rohan McCullough, and Annie Ross.
