Premise

A wealthy man who convinced the world that bad is good and good is bad grew bored with his success and used his fortune to create a theme park called Underworld: the Theme Park, designed as a slice of life look at Hell. Disguised as the devil and calling himself "the Boss," he invited a nice family to live there solely to torture them. However, when his skeletal right-hand man Kevin directed the Baskervilles his way, the Boss may have taken on more than he can handle. The show mirrors The Munsters: instead of a monster family in a human suburb, it features a human family in a demonic city where all rules are reversed.

Characters

The Baskervilles are a quiet family from Nice Town, a picture-perfect portrait of a nice quiet family, except for one little girl who is put off by her kin's excessive politeness. After seeing an advertisement for Underworld on TV, they decide to vacation there, unaware of the owner's true intentions. Brian Baskerville, voiced by Rob Brydon, is the perfect 1950s sitcom father figure, so unbearably nice that he drives Underworld's denizens to madness with his rambling stories. Janet Baskerville, voiced by Rachel Preece, is the perfect mother who understands Underworld's rules better than her husband but still does things the nice way. Darren Baskerville, voiced by Gary Martin, is the polite, oblivious teenage son with a crush on Fangora Dracula. April Baskerville, voiced by Suzy Aitchison, is a precocious girl opposite her ultra-nice family; she understands the Boss's schemes and enjoys thwarting him, and she may be meaner than the Boss. She has crushes on hunky guys like Young Frank but attracts only Vlad Jr., whom she despises. Spot is the Baskervilles' robotic three-headed hound: Cool Spot (sunglasses-wearing, April's best friend), Bad Spot (a rabid monster loving destruction), and Dumb Spot (the park's dumbest creature). Colin, voiced by Gary Martin, is the Baskervilles' talking house that secretly tries to kill them, though politely. The Boss rules Underworld with an iron fist; he and his purple-skinned, horned, red-eyed demon family are the only truly mean residents.
