Plot
Each episode begins with Mr. Perfect demonstrating how to perform a task, such as serving ice cream or using exercise equipment, in a flawless manner. After he completes the task, the Blips rewind the footage before the narrator can declare his perfection, and the sequence restarts. This time, the Blips sabotage Mr. Perfect's efforts by setting traps or tampering with machines. Eventually, Mr. Perfect gives up on the task, and the credits show him relaxing with a cup of tea and walking home. Mr. Perfect, portrayed by Robin Stevens, is an everyman with an overly optimistic, goofy manner who appears to be mute, communicating through body language. His attire changes per episode, but his main outfit includes thick-framed glasses, tidy hair, and a bright blue suit. He lives in a white house that the Blips also inhabit. The Blips are purple alien-like beings that can change size and shape. A recurring comedic theme is Mr. Perfect becoming suspicious of the mishaps caused by the Blips, yet never actually encountering them.
