Season one

In the first season, each week one couple won immunity. The winners were then offered a cash payment to give up their immunity; if they accepted, they were immediately at risk of being voted off. In week 1, the Jacobis took $10,000 and were voted out. In week 2, the Moutras refused $15,000, and the Bajwas were eliminated. In week 3, the Holmeses declined $20,000, and the Woodwards were voted off. In week 4, the Freises accepted $30,000; Cody took the money while Dawn expressed unhappiness, and they spent the episode making separate promises to the Holmeses and the Moutras. The Krashins were voted off that week. In week 5, the Holmeses won immunity but were offered no money; instead they chose which couple would join them in the final two. They voted off the Freises. Crystal and Johnnie Moutra were declared the winners of the grand prize, $465,000, on the April 6, 2008 show.

Season two

In the second season, the immunity winners again faced cash offers. In week 1, the Smiths accepted $10,000 and were voted out. In week 2, the Hinkinses refused $15,000, and the Oskowskis were eliminated. In week 3, the Huffmans declined $20,000, and the Coxes were voted off.

In week 4, the Hinkinses rejected $25,000, and the Huffmans were eliminated. In week 5, the Newberys refused $30,000, and the Iengs were voted off. In week 6, the Newberys declined $40,000, and the Hinkinses were eliminated; after that vote, the McMorrises admitted they had lied to the Hinkinses about their voting intentions. In week 7, the McMorrises won immunity, refused $50,000, and chose the Corlisses to accompany them to the final two, resulting in the Newberys being voted off.

Mark and Marlo Corliss were declared the winners of the grand prize, $480,000, on the July 13, 2009 show. Several couples had children: Bridget and Brendan Huffman have a girl and a boy; Katie and Nick Oskowski have three children; Sonarak and Michele Ieng have a baby girl; Kenny and MaKayla McMorris have two children; Jed and Sarin Hinkins have three girls; Matt and Andrea Smith have a girl and boy; Rich and Audra Newberry have twin boys. The Corlisses are divorced.
