Synopsis

The cartoon version of Fraggle Rock kept the same structure as the original puppet show, including its theme song, though the voice actors for the animated characters recorded a new version. Most episodes were split into two fifteen-minute segments, but a handful told a single half-hour story. The series continued the tradition of original music, with at least one song per episode, and a few tunes, like "Let Me Be Your Song," were taken from the live-action show. Each episode originally began and ended with live-action footage of Uncle Traveling Matt in Doc's workshop. A key difference from the puppet series is that Doc is only shown from the neck down, much like Nanny in Muppet Babies. The animated series ran for thirteen episodes.
