Breakfast with Bear is a spin-off series from the Jim Henson Company's Bear in the Big Blue House, produced by Shadow Projects and Jim Henson Television for Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney preschool block. Plot

Each episode of Breakfast with Bear opens with the welcome song and Bear detecting a scent in the viewers. The show focuses on a single theme, such as sleep or doctors, which leads to a lesson at the end. Songs and jokes accompany the episode, and the character Shadow often narrates a segment with shadow puppets. At the end, Bear sings the goodbye song with Luna, the moon.
