Game play
Two players faced off in a puzzle challenge on a game board. Each had their own row of twenty numbered spaces. They took turns picking a hidden number from their own row, which would reveal either a letter or a blank. The puzzle in each row described a prize. The first player to believe they could solve both rows would buzz in and state the answer for each row exactly as shown on the board. A correct guess won both prizes, sometimes with extra items. At first, a winner stayed to face a new challenger, retiring undefeated after five victories. By May, the rules changed to a best-of-three format, and the five-win limit was removed.
