Cast and characters
Olivia Holt portrays Lindy Watson, a teenager who was once geeky, nerdy, an outcast, and athletic. After entering high school with a new look guided by her best friend, she becomes a fashionable new girl. In the episode "Dance Fever," her nemesis is a girl named Sherri (Peyton List), and it is shown that Lindy has had perfect attendance for eight years. "Snow Problem" reveals she is a good snowboarder. Lindy can be a goody-two-shoes and is sometimes used by her friends as a stamp of approval when asking their parents for permission. In "Fireman Freddy's Spaghetti Station," she displays a tendency to one-up people, though she initially denies it.
Austin North plays Logan Watson, a laid-back, cool, and confident teenager with big plans for high school that sometimes conflict with those of his twin sister, Lindy. Logan often takes the easy way out and is not the most intelligent or dedicated student. Jasmine has feelings for Logan, which he discovers in "Logan Finds Out!" In "Falling for... Who?" it is revealed that Logan returns Jasmine's feelings and instantly falls in love with her. He tries to ask her out, but she has started dating Owen. Despite his behavior, Logan is sensitive at heart, crying a little over Jasmine when she dates Owen. Eventually, Logan and Jasmine admit their feelings and become a couple in "The Rescuers," with Jasmine choosing him over Owen.
