Plot

The series centers on Danny Douglas, a 12-year-old boy who invents a time machine lunch box and sends it back in time. The lunch box is knocked into the future, where scientists transform a worm into Future-Worm, a worm with a Photo Receptor Visor, Titanium Reinforced Abs, and a Bullet-Proof Beard. Future-Worm travels back to Danny's timeline, and the two befriend each other, embarking on adventures through the past, present, and future with the help of their friend Bug.

Bug, voiced by Jessica DiCicco, is a purple-haired girl with wings. Robo-Carp, voiced by Ryan Quincy, is a fish-shaped robot that explodes whenever Danny uses it, prompting Danny and Future-Worm to say 'Weak!'. Production

The characters first appeared in Disney XD's 2015 lineup, with a series of shorts premiering later that year. Ryan Quincy, creator of the short-lived IFC series Out There and a former animation director for South Park, created the series. Animation was provided by Titmouse, Inc., which also worked on Motorcity, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, and Kirby Buckets.
