World's Funniest

A reality series featuring funny videos analyzed by a comedian panel.

World's Funniest, originally called World's Funniest Fails, is an American reality TV series that first aired on Fox on January 16, 2015. Produced by Dick Clark Productions and Jukin Media, it was hosted by Terry Crews and took inspiration from Jukin’s YouTube channel FailArmy along with other Jukin properties. The show featured a panel of comedians who watched and discussed video clips sorted into categories. During the first season, each panelist picked a favorite video per category, and Crews then selected one video from each category and chose the "Fail of the Week" at the end. The panelist who had picked that video received a trophy. A disclaimer noted that the show did not accept viewer submissions, since most clips were licensed from Jukin; unlike America’s Funniest Home Videos, this program made no statement about whether people in the clips were injured by their actions. A second season was ordered in February 2015, with 8 or 9 unaired episodes expected to air starting in fall 2015. That season began on November 6, 2015. The title was shortened because, according to Crews, not everything funny is a fail. Also, the panelists no longer nominated favorite videos. Though never officially canceled, Fox did not order a third season. This show has no direct link to an earlier Fox series with a similar name, The World’s Funniest!, which ran from 1998 to 2000 and was produced by Brad Lachman Productions.
