Knock Knock Live

Knock Knock Live was a reality show on Fox that aired live during the 2015–16 season, with Ryan Seacrest as the host. It premiered on July 21, 2015, at 9 pm Eastern Time, though West Coast viewers saw a tape-delayed version. Each episode featured Seacrest and a celebrity guest surprising everyday people at their homes. The recipients had done something special and received prizes like cash or a car. Some got to meet their celebrity crushes, while others experienced spontaneous games in their front yard or street. Seacrest explained the show aimed to make people smile and change their lives a bit, noting that because it was live, the outcomes were unpredictable. Fox canceled the series on July 30, 2015, after just two episodes due to poor ratings. The show’s premise involved knocking on a random door and delivering prizes. Scheduled guests for the first season included Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Lea Michele, Meghan Trainor, Rob Gronkowski, Robin Thicke, Rita Ora, Martha Stewart, Bubba Watson, David Beckham, Demi Lovato, Mike Holmes, Adrienne Bailon, Florida Georgia Line, Ross Mathews, and Common.
