Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own

Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own is an animated children's show created by Tim Maile and Douglas Tuber for Discovery Family. It ran from April 14 to December 22, 2018, and follows a group of pets who use a secret magical portal to leave the human world and travel to Paw-Tucket, a community built by and for pets. This series is the third TV adaptation of the Littlest Pet Shop toy franchise, following the 1995 and 2012 series, and is tied to the franchise's 2018 relaunch.

The story centers on six pets: Roxie McTerrier, a hyper, loyal Boston Terrier who loves food and fun; Jade Catkin, a sarcastic gothic Bombay cat who is Roxie's roommate and best friend; Trip Hamston, a confident hamster who raps; Quincy Goatee, a fainting goat who is easily scared and Trip's roommate; Edie Von Keet, a dramatic parakeet and talented actress; and Bev Gilturtle, an energetic blue box turtle who tries many activities. They use the portal to have adventures, throw parties, make friends, and be themselves in Paw-Tucket.

Recurring characters include Savannah Cheetaby, a famous cheetah pop star; Petula Woolwright, a purple sheep who leads a group of snobs and serves as the main antagonist; Sweetie Pom-Pom, a tan pomeranian sidekick; Gavin Chamelle, a chameleon in Petula's gang; Mitchell Snailford, a dimwitted snail; Mister Yut, a red Siamese fighting fish who manages commerce; Scoot Raccoonerson, a raccoon who values trash; Austin Goldenpup, a golden retriever Roxie has a crush on; Captain Gilturtle, Bev's uncle and a sea turtle; Manny Mouser, a smart inventor mouse; Carmilla Wingbat, a shy fruit bat with a great singing voice; and Pearl, a cat who works at a salon.

The series was ordered by Discovery Family on February 20, 2018, with 52 episodes from Allspark, premiering on April 14, 2018. It debuted worldwide on TiJi in France on April 9, 2018, then on Discovery Family in the U.S. on April 14. It later aired on Treehouse TV in Canada (June 2, 2018), Pop in the U.K. and Ireland (September 3), 9Go! in Australia (October 5), e.tv in South Africa (2020), and Discovery Kids in Latin America and Brazil (July 7). Reruns on Discovery Family ended in November 2023.

Emily Ashby of Common Sense Media gave the series a 2 out of 5 stars, criticizing it as an extended commercial for the brand with formulaic stories and one-dimensional characters.
