Kamen Rider Drive is a Japanese tokusatsu television series that is the 16th Heisei Kamen Rider Series and the 25th series overall. It premiered on TV Asahi on October 5, 2014, and was written by Riku Sanjo and directed by Ryuta Tasaki. The series is notable for featuring a car as the hero's main vehicle instead of the franchise's traditional motorcycle.

Films
The Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim: Movie War Full Throttle was released in Japanese theaters on December 13, 2014, crossing over with Kamen Rider Gaim. The Drive portion guest-starred Yūji Ayabe as Kamen Rider Lupin, and its events take place between episodes 9 and 10. The first million ticket buyers received a special DVD titled Type Zero Episode 0: Countdown to Global Freeze. Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3 opened on March 21, 2015, featuring the cast of Drive and the return of Kamen Rider 3, originally created by Shotaro Ishinomori. Actors from previous Kamen Rider series reprised their roles, and the film occurs between episodes 22 and 23. Kamen Rider Drive the Movie: Surprise Future was released on August 8, 2015, double-billed with a Ninninger film. It introduced Kamen Rider Dark Drive and the NexTridoron, based on a Mercedes-AMG GT, and featured the first on-screen appearance of Kamen Rider Ghost. Its events take place between episodes 40 and 41. Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Ghost & Drive: Super Movie War Genesis was released on December 12, 2015, crossing over Drive with Kamen Rider Ghost.
Secret Missions
The Secret Missions are a collection of special episodes. One DVD, packaged with the January 2015 Televi-Kun magazine, is titled Type TV-Kun Hunter & Monster! Chase the Mystery of the Super Thief! It ties into the Kamen Rider Drive segment of Movie War Full Throttle and Type Zero, featuring Roidmude 005, and takes place between episodes 4 and 5. Another DVD, Type Zero Episode 0: Countdown to Global Freeze, was a prequel given to the first million ticket buyers for Movie War Full Throttle and introduces Kamen Rider Proto Drive. The Blu-ray release includes Type Tokujo, a four-episode set covering the Special Investigations Division’s origins, set between episodes 22 and 23. In Type High Speed! The True Power! Type High Speed Is Born!, Shinnosuke faces a Roidmude that copies his Type Speed form, so he remodels the Speed Shift Car into Type High Speed. Finally, Type Lupin! ~Lupin, the Last Challenge~ is a Hyper Battle DVD where Kamen Rider Lupin returns after his appearance in Movie War Full Throttle.
Drive Saga
Drive Saga is a hybrid set of V-Cinema, CD audio drama, and web releases serving as spin-offs. Kamen Rider Chaser, released on April 20, 2016, focuses on Chase as Kamen Rider Chaser, with events between Surprise Future and episode 41; Minehiro Kinomoto reprised his role as Kamen Rider Accel from Kamen Rider W. Kamen Rider Mach/Kamen Rider Heart, released on November 16, 2016, covers side stories of Go Shijima as Kamen Rider Mach and Heart as Kamen Rider Heart, set after Mach Saga and Kamen Rider Heisei Generations. The Story of Kamen Rider Mach's Dream, a CD audio drama released on November 25, 2016, takes place between Mach Saga and Kamen Rider Heart. Kamen Rider Brain, originally an April Fool's joke in 2017, was released as a two-episode web series on Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club on April 28, 2019, focusing on Brain becoming Kamen Rider Brain.
