League of Legends
Team Vitality entered professional League of Legends on 9 December 2015 by acquiring Gambit Gaming's spot in the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split. The first player signed was former TSM support Raymond "kaSing" Tsang. Five days later, the full roster was announced: top laner Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet, jungler Ilyas "Shook" Hartsema, mid laner Erlend "Nukeduck" Våtevik Holm, and bot laner Petter "Hjarnan" Freyschuss, with former Gambit Gaming coach Shaunz joining as coach. During the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split, the roster finished third with a 13–5 record, behind G2 Esports and H2k-Gaming; Cabochard and kaSing were elected to the split's All Pro Team. In playoffs, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by sixth-place Fnatic. Before the 2016 Summer Split, Shook and Hjarnan left, the latter for health reasons. Vitality signed jungler Kim "Mightybear" Min-soo from Newbee and bot laner Park "Police" Hyeong-gi from Apex Gaming. With a new match format, the team accrued only three match wins in the summer regular season (3–9–6 series record). Shook returned four weeks into the season as starting jungler. After a tiebreaker win against FC Schalke 04, Vitality secured seventh place, avoiding relegation but missing playoffs. Prior to the next competitive season, the roster was revamped: bot laner Pierre "Steeelback" Medjaldi replaced Police, support Ha "Hachani" Seung-chan replaced kaSing, and after a deal for Afreeca Freecs jungler LirA fell through, Vitality signed substitute mid laner Lee "GBM" Chang-seok, jungler Charly "Djoko" Guillard, and substitutes top laner Adrien "Alderiate" Wils and support Baltat "AoD" Alin-Ciprian.
Rainbow Six: Siege
Team Vitality first acquired a Rainbow Six: Siege roster on Xbox One for the Xbox One Pro League in December 2015. They competed in all three seasons of that league, taking first in Season Three and placing second at the first and only Xbox One Six Invitational in February 2016. After the Xbox One Pro League shut down, Vitality picked up a PC roster consisting of Bryan "Elemzje" Tebessi, Julian "Enemy" Blin, Dimitri "Panix" de Longeaux, Jean "RevaN" Prudenti, Valentin "Risze" Liradelfo, and coach Sami "Stooflex" Smail. The Xbox One team transferred to PC as Vitality.Black, with Quentin "Tactiss" Rousselle replacing Arnaud "BiOs" Billaudel. The original PC team became Vitality.White. Stooflex and Elemzje left in June 2016; Jean-Baptiste "Hansen" Mace replaced Elemzje, and Laurie "Lyloun" Lagier and Julien "Kivvi" Serrier joined as coaches in September 2016. Vitality.Black disbanded later that September, allowing Lyloun to join the main team. In February 2018, Valentin "Voy" Cheron replaced Hansen weeks before the Six Invitational 2018, where Vitality placed 13th–16th. On 12 March 2018, Vitality dropped that roster and acquired the French team Supremacy. The new roster placed third in European Pro League Season 7, second in the Coupe de France 2018, and second at Dreamhack Valencia 2018, qualifying for the Six Major Paris 2018. BiOs returned as coach before Dreamhack Valencia. At the Six Major Paris 2018, Vitality placed 5th–8th after defeating Team Liquid and PET Nora-Rengo but losing to Team Secret. They placed seventh in European Pro League Season 8 and lost the relegation match to ENCE. After relegation to the Challenger League, Adrien "RaFaLe" Rutik, Florian "ZephiR" Perrot, and coach BiOs left to return to Supremacy. Morgan "rxwd" Pacy and David "sNKy" Khalfa replaced them, with Lyloun becoming primary coach.
Rocket League
Vitality entered professional Rocket League on 12 February 2018 by acquiring the roster of Guess Who, renaming it Renault Vitality after sponsor Renault. On 23 June 2019, Renault Vitality defeated G2 Esports to win Season 7 of the Rocket League Championship Series; Kyle "Scrub Killa" Robertson was named Worlds MVP. At the RLCS Season 8 Finals in Madrid on 15 December, they reached the final but lost to NRG Esports in seven games. On 15 January 2020, Vitality released Scrub Killa and announced Alpha54 as the new third player. On 20 June 2021, Vitality won the European RLCS X Championship against Team BDS. On 30 March 2022, Victor "Ferra" Francal was signed as head coach, replacing Mout. After the RLCS 2021–2022 Winter Major, Radosin from GRIDSERVE Resolve joined the starting roster, and Fairy Peak! moved to substitute. After the 2021/2022 season, Kaydop and Fairy Peak were replaced by saizen and zen. In the RLCS 2022–2023 Winter Regional, Vitality qualified as the 4th seed for the Winter Major in San Diego. On 9 July 2023, Vitality won the RLCS Spring Major over Team BDS, having swept the EU Open, EU Cup, and EU Invitational—the first team to sweep all available tournaments in an RLCS split. On 13 August, they won the World Championship over Team BDS, becoming the first team in RLCS history to win multiple World Championships and extending their RLCS tournament winning streak to five. For the 2025 season, Radosin left, Alpha54 was moved to inactive, and Monkey Moon and Exotiik were signed. Kassio replaced Ferra as coach. At the Birmingham Major, Vitality went 3–0 in the Swiss but lost to The Ultimates 4–2 and then to Furia 4–3. At the Raleigh Major, they went 3–0 in the Swiss, swept NRG Esports 4–0, but were eliminated in the semifinals 4–1 by Dignitas. At the Esports World Cup Featuring Rocket League, they beat Spacestation Gaming and Twisted Minds 3–0 in Group D to advance to the quarterfinals.
Counter-Strike 2
Team Vitality began their rise with ZywOo being named the top player at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 by the event organizers. That same year, the squad captured their first Major championship at the BLAST Paris Major 2023. In October, coach zonic left the organization, and two days later Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam returned to the helm, having previously led the team from late 2018 through 2021. Magisk departed on November 3, 2023, reportedly heading to Team Falcons alongside zonic, who had joined Falcons two days earlier. William "mezii" Merriman filled Magisk's spot on the active roster on November 8.
A major shift came on January 10, 2025, when Robin "ropz" Kool joined after Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was benched, following reports that Vitality had allowed Spinx to look for other opportunities. Just one month later, the team won IEM Katowice 2025—their first title at that event—and ropz’s second, after his 2022 win with FaZe Clan. They followed up with victories at ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Lisbon, and IEM Melbourne 2025. That Melbourne win marked Vitality’s fourth ESL trophy in ten consecutive events, starting with IEM Cologne 2024, and secured the fifth ESL Grand Slam. The streak continued at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 and IEM Dallas 2025, pushing their LAN win streak to 30 matches. They also claimed the Austin Major 2025.
On July 25, 2025, Stake became the team’s official betting partner and front-of-shirt sponsor. The year ended with major accolades: on November 19, 2025, Team Vitality was named Esports Team of the Year at the 2025 Esports Awards, while ZywOo took home PC Player of the Year. The squad also won Best Esports Team at The Game Awards 2025, where ZywOo was nominated for Best Esports Athlete. They capped off the historic season by winning the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, their second Major of the year.
