Renegades (esports)
American esports organization active from 2016 to 2022.
Renegades was an American esports organization that fielded teams in numerous competitive titles, including Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, iRacing, and Valorant. It began as a League of Legends team called Misfits that qualified for the 2016 North American League of Legends Championship Series, but its slot was sold to Team EnVyUs after its owners were banned from NA LCS team ownership. In September 2016, professional basketball player Jonas Jerebko purchased the rights to the Renegades franchise, and the organization suspended operations indefinitely in October 2022 after releasing its last team.
