HD 174500, also known as HR 7097 or 34 G. Telescopii, is a solitary white-hued star in Telescopium. With an apparent magnitude of 6.16, it is near the naked-eye visibility limit. Gaia DR3 parallax places it 692 light years away, receding from the Sun. Its brightness is reduced by 0.39 magnitudes due to interstellar dust.
