Planetary system
The star was monitored by the CORALIE radial velocity program from 2000. A superjovian planet was announced in August 2009, followed in 2011 by a hot Neptune on a 35-day orbit. A third Jupiter-like candidate on a 2800-day orbit was proposed in 2012; if real, planets b and d may be near a 7:5 mean motion resonance. A 2015 study confirmed the first two planets but found no signal at the candidate's period, and a 2022 study agreed, instead identifying a new planet or brown dwarf designated HD 204313 e. Astrometry has measured the inclination and true mass of planets b and e.
