Background
Cameron Mitchell, offered any job he liked by Jack O'Neill after his recovery from his injuries, asks to join SG-1, but finds on arriving that the team has been disbanded and that he is to pick and lead a new one under a new general, Hank Landry. Claudia Black's Vala Mal Doran appears as a recurring character, and the episodes open new storylines about the Ancients, their links to Arthurian legend, and their origins.
