Zerus

Zerus is the original homeworld of the Zerg in StarCraft. Its native lifeforms could absorb the essence of creatures they killed and transform themselves, before the Xel'Naga created the Overmind to bind the Zerg into a hive mind. The primal Zerg, such as the pack leader Dehaka and the ancient Zurvan, live there. In Heart of the Swarm, Zeratul guides Kerrigan to Zerus, where she allows herself to be reinfested and is reborn as the Primal Queen of Blades.
