Plot synopsis
A year after the events of Revenge of the Sith, Ahsoka Tano has gone into hiding following Anakin Skywalker's fall to the dark side as Darth Vader. Using the alias "Ashla," she works as a mechanic and freighter pilot for the Fardi clan on Thabeska, but is forced to flee after using her Force powers to save four-year-old Hedala Fardi. She settles on the agrarian moon Raada, befriending farmers including sisters Kaeden and Miara Larte and their guardian Vartan. When the Galactic Empire forces farmers to plant crops that leach the soil, Ahsoka leads a resistance movement. The uprising goes awry, and she exposes her Force abilities in a skirmish, prompting the Empire to send the Jedi-hunting Sixth Brother after her. Ahsoka leaves Raada and returns to the Fardis, where she learns the Sixth Brother is stalking Hedala. After fleeing a Black Sun gangster, her ship is captured by pilots working for Senator Bail Organa. She knocks them unconscious, enlists R2-D2 to smuggle her aboard Organa's corvette, and forms an alliance with Organa to protect Force-sensitive children. Returning to Raada, she learns the Sixth Brother has captured Kaeden. Ahsoka defeats and kills the Sixth Brother in a lightsaber duel, takes his kyber crystals to forge twin white-bladed lightsabers, frees Kaeden, and organizes an evacuation of Raada's population with Organa's help after a skirmish with Imperial forces.
