Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is an American animated children's television series set in the High Republic era, centuries before the main Star Wars films. It follows a group of younglings learning to become Jedi Knights and is the first full-length animated Star Wars series targeted at young audiences. The series premiered on Disney+ and Disney Jr. on May 4, 2023.

Jamaal Avery Jr. (season 1), JeCobi Swain (seasons 1–2), and Ja'Siah Young (season 3) voice Kai Brightstar, a Jedi youngling who aspires to become a Jedi Knight like Yoda. Production
The series was announced at Star Wars Celebration in May 2022, with executive producer James Waugh, showrunner Michael Olson, supervising director Elliot Bour, and consulting producer Lamont Magee. Lucasfilm's Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes also serve as executive producers. Waugh noted the creative team aimed to make the series a suitable first Star Wars experience for children while staying true to franchise expectations. The second season was produced with Wild Canary and Icon Creative, with Lamont McGee joining as consulting producer. At D23 Expo in September 2022, Jamaal Avery Jr. and Emma Berman were announced as leads. In February 2023, Juliet Donenfeld, Dee Bradley Baker, Jonathan Lipow, and Piotr Michael were cast. In January 2024, Marcus Scribner, Justine Lee, and Liam O'Brien were added for the final first-season episodes, and JeCo Swain was announced to share the role of Kai Brightstar. Actors recorded lines remotely, with Baker providing multiple options for Nubs' non-English vocalizations; subtitles were not used due to the preschool demographic.
Release
The series premiered on Disney+ and Disney Jr. on May 4, 2023, with the first two episodes shown at Star Wars Celebration Europe on April 8, 2023. Three shorts debuted on the Disney Jr. YouTube channel on March 27, 2023, followed by three more by April 24; all six were released on Disney+ on April 26. Six more episodes arrived on August 2, 2023, with further episodes on November 8, and the final six on February 14, 2024, completing a 25-episode first season. Additional shorts were released on August 2, 2024, and the second season premiered on August 14, 2024. The second half of season two was released on March 19, 2025, with Fun with Nubs shorts starting February 1. The third and final season, consisting of seven episodes, was released in full on December 8, 2025.

Parrot Analytics reported that during the week of January 16–22, 2023, the series ranked fifth most in-demand on Disney+. It achieved 23.1 times the average series demand during the week of April 29–May 5, 2023, a 69% increase from an earlier period. Arezou Amin of Collider gave the series an 'A' rating, praising its character-focused approach and new characters. Brett White of Decider described it as a fun introduction to Star Wars for preschoolers, noting low-stakes plots but emphasizing life lessons and action sequences that feel authentically Star Wars.
