Gameplay

The player controls a pointer at the bottom of the screen, using either the gamepad or Taito's paddle controller, to shoot differently-colored bubbles upward. The goal is to shoot bubbles at other bubbles of the same color at the top of the screen; when three or more touching bubbles of the same color are formed, that group disappears. The objective is to clear the screen of all bubbles. Power-ups include stars that clear all bubbles of a specific color and a flame that destroys bubbles within a radius regardless of color. Levels remain the same, with some containing boss battles. The game includes a story mode with eight worlds and a competitive mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
