Gameplay
Cross Gate uses a traditional Japanese anime style with 2D graphics and pre-rendered 3D player characters. Its turn-based battle system resembles the Dragon Quest series, and up to five players can team up. There are 56 character choices, including 14 unique characters with four color variations, over 60 jobs, and 80 unique skills. The Creature System allows players to carry five creatures and have one fight alongside them. A specialized class catches creatures for an open marketplace where players bid on them. Players assign ability points to five dimensions as creatures level up, and around 200 creatures are available to collect.
