Almansa began racing in Spain and won his first championship by age 13. He finished runner-up in the Spanish Cuna de Campeones Moto5 championship in 2018 before winning the title in 2019. In 2021 he entered the European Talent Cup, winning on his first weekend and placing 11th in the championship despite missing two races. He moved to the FIM JuniorGP World Championship in 2022, finishing 8th with a win in the season finale.

In 2023 he won another race but dropped to 9th after missing the final two rounds. Almansa debuted in Moto3 as a wildcard for Boé Motorsports at the last round of 2022, qualifying 22nd and finishing 25th. He replaced the injured Joel Kelso at CFMoto Racing Prüstel GP for the Argentinian and Americas rounds of 2023, finishing 17th in both starts. He made wildcard appearances in the three Spanish rounds of 2023 for Finetwork Intact GP, withdrawing from the Valencia finale after Free Practice One due to injury; his best result was 20th at Jerez.

Called up to replace the injured Romano Fenati at the Rivacold Snipers Team for the Japanese Grand Prix, he finished 17th, racing for his fourth manufacturer in five starts. Almansa joined Rivacold Snipers full time for 2024, missing the first three races and finishing 22nd with 18 points and a best finish of 11th at San Marino and Malaysia. Moving to Leopard Racing for 2025, he scored his first Moto3 top-ten at Buriram, earned his first pole position at Barcelona and a second at Sepang, and achieved his best finish of third at Sepang after his teammate's disqualification.
