Biography

She studied French language and literature at Yonsei University, where she also majored in psychology. In July 2016, she shared on SBS's The Genius Scouters that she experienced bullying during high school. She married an IT technician she had dated in college on March 30, 2013, at the Seoul Gangnam Renaissance Hotel.

Their divorce was announced by Fluxus in July 2016, after three years of marriage. On September 29, 2016, around 6 am, while driving to host her morning radio show on SBS Power FM, she collided with a cleaning truck driver on Seoul's Seongsu Bridge. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while Horan was booked by Seoul Gangnam Police on a DUI charge without arrest.

The case was forwarded to the Prosecutor in October. Fluxus issued an apology and suspended all of Horan's activities. On January 9, 2017, she was fined 7 million won (about $5,800), with the penalty considering her out-of-court settlement with the injured driver.
