Lore & Background
ARrC was introduced by Mystic Story in July 2024 as the agency's first boy group, comprising seven members from various countries. Among them, Hyunmin had previously competed on Mnet's Boys Planet (placing 48th), and Ziwoo gained viral attention after a TikTok video of him singing 'Marry Me' garnered 8.2 million views. The group's debut was preceded by a reality show, World of ARrC, which aired on Mnet and M2 YouTube channels starting July 17, 2024, and the release of two unreleased songs, 'Connected' and 'Alien in Seoul.' Their debut EP Ar^c was released on August 19, 2024, with the title track 'S&S (Sour and Sweet).'
Reader's Guide
ARrC's significance lies in being Mystic Story's first boy group, debuting in 2024 with a multinational lineup that included a Vietnamese member, Kien, who attracted attention from local media. The group's name, Always Remember the real Connection, reflected their stated principle of valuing connectivity across differences. Their career was brief, spanning less than two years, and included a member change: Ziwoo left in January 2025, and Andy was added nine days later. They released two EPs—Ar^c (2024) and Nu Kidz: Out the Box (2025)—before disbanding on June 23, 2026. Their legacy is primarily as a short-lived project that highlighted the rapid turnover and global aspirations common in the K-pop industry.
