Facts from the source article.
History
Financial struggles forced members to rent or borrow instruments, and Champignon needed parental permission to perform due to his age. The positive response from Santos's underground scene led Champignon to share the demo with producer Tadeu Patolla, who advised Chorão to sing in Portuguese and experiment with hip hop, reggae, and ska, citing Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine.
After Charlie Brown Jr.
After leaving Charlie Brown Jr., Champignon formed Revolucionnários, then joined the supergroup Nove Mil Anjos with Junior Lima and Peu Sousa. Marcão formed TH6, and Renato Pelado became a DJ. Following Chorão's death, the remaining members formed the tribute act A Banca, releasing the single "O Novo Passo," which Rolling Stone Brasil named one of the year's best Brazilian songs. Except for Thiago Castanho, A Banca members later regrouped as Bula and then formed D'Chapas.
Reunions
Chorão’s son, Alexandre, supported the reunion, but it drew criticism from the singer’s ex-wife Graziela Gonçalves, former guitarist Thiago Castanho, and critic Mauro Ferreira. Thiago Castanho rejoined, and former Tihuana vocalist Egypcio took the lead. The lineup included all past members except original drummer Renato Pelado.
Legacy
A planned DVD of the festival did not materialize due to bureaucratic reasons.
