Last updated
Two charges of possessing child pornography led to Carrozza's arrest in June 2024.[1]
Making and release
The project was later pitched to Mondo Media in 2007–2008 as Dungeons and Dayjobs before Cartoon Network picked it up in 2013.[2] Mighty Magiswords debuted on Cartoon Network's CN Anything app as a 15-second micro-series in 2015.[3] Nearly 400 pieces of platform-specific content were created around Carrozza's show, including shorts, vlogs, web/mobile games, and interactive narrative content.[3] He had most recently been a board artist on Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish and The Casagrandes Movie.[3]
Cartoon Network promoted Mighty Magiswords as its first digital series created exclusively for online distribution.[2] A TV series adaptation of those shorts began airing on September 29, 2016.[2]
