The sealing of the Ten Commandments was primarily performed by the Goddess Clan, not by Meliodas and Elizabeth personally. Centuries later, as the Demon King seeks to reclaim his throne, the seals are broken one by one. This resurgence is not merely a military campaign but a personal reckoning for Meliodas, who must confront the remnants of his own heritage. The Commandments represent the dark history of the world that the Sins strive to protect.

This narrative phase begins after the Holy Knights arc concludes, shifting focus to the Demon Clan's direct intervention.
