Release and legacy
Originally slated for an October 1, 1991 launch, Secret Agent was pushed back and finally came out exactly four months later. An emulated version hit GOG.com for Windows and Mac OS X in 2013. A high-definition remaster, published by Apogee Entertainment and developed by Emberheart Games, arrived on June 30, 2021, for Windows and Linux. This version adds a fourth mission, Steam Workshop support, online leaderboards, and a new soundtrack.
