Pryanik

A honey-based baked good from Eastern and Central Europe.

Pryanik is a traditional sweet baked good found in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Czechia, Slovenia, Poland, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. Made primarily from flour and honey, it is denser than cake but moister than a biscuit. The name derives from an Old East Slavic word for pepper, linking it to German Pfefferkuchen.
