Background
Rick and Morty visit another planet to buy wiper fluid and witness "The Festival", an annual night on which the population commits crimes without consequence. Morty makes Rick rescue a young alien girl, Arthricia, who betrays them and steals Rick's gun and ship. Rick calls Summer, who sends them advanced armor suits; Morty goes on a killing spree before Rick knocks him out, and Rick and Arthricia, who wants to end the Festival, storm the castle of the corrupt nobility who introduced it.
The surviving inhabitants decide to build a new society but soon riot over disputes, and one suggests keeping the Festival after all. Morty feels guilt over his rampage, which Rick falsely blames on a candy bar. In the post-credits scene, Beth discovers that Jerry has wasted $700 calling Taddy Mason, who charges money just to talk on the phone.
