Deployable Shield
A collapsible, waist-high bulletproof shield that defenders drop for extra cover.
The Deployable Shield is defender-only equipment in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Mobile: a collapsible, waist-high bulletproof metal shield that defenders place to create additional cover. Tiny bulletproof window slits let both sides see through it, with a slightly larger view for the player directly behind it, and while crouched an undeployed shield protects a defender from the knees to the shoulders. Its design was changed in the Operation Ember Rise expansion; Goyo's unique gadget was originally a Volcán version of the shield until the Demon Veil expansion left him with the Volcán Canister instead.
