Lore & Background
The weapon's scarcity in the game world reflects its status as a top-tier asset controlled by elite forces or dropped via air support. Unlike the AKM or M416, which are ubiquitous across the battlefield and rely on player customization, the Groza arrives ready for immediate combat. Its presence often signals that a care package has landed nearby, drawing intense competition from multiple squads.
Reader's Guide
The Groza is a high-damage assault rifle firing 7.62mm rounds, offering superior stopping power compared to standard 5.56mm rifles in close-range engagements. Its integrated suppressor eliminates muzzle flash and significantly reduces sound, allowing players to maintain stealth while delivering automatic fire without alerting distant enemies. Recoil is moderate but manageable; the weapon kicks vertically with a slight horizontal drift, requiring controlled bursts or short taps at medium distances to maintain accuracy. Effective range is best utilized in close to mid-range combat (under 100 meters), where its high damage per second can quickly eliminate opponents before they react. Since it lacks attachment slots for scopes, muzzles, or magazines, players cannot upgrade its optics or extend magazine capacity beyond the default 30 rounds.
Did You Know?
- It is exclusively obtainable via Care Packages on most maps, making it a high-risk, high-reward target for squads.
- Despite its power, the Groza can accept scopes from red dot sights up to 6x magnification, offering flexibility beyond iron sights.
