Making and release

They signed with Tragic Hero Records in February 2014.[1] On March 13, 2012, the band put out their first EP, titled Waves, without a label.[1] Brian Hood, a former drummer for MyChildren MyBride, produced the six-song EP at 456 Recordings.[2] Brendon McMaster, who plays in the deathcore group The Crimson Armada, appeared as a guest on the song "Captive".[2]

August 26, 2014 was the release date for the band's first full-length album, Everchanger.[1] Heavener, their newest studio album, came out on March 17, 2023 via UNFD.[1]

What the cited sources add

A 2021 article describes the EP The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was as a true story of addiction and the trauma in its aftermath.[3] A 2023 article states that Heavener was self-produced in conjunction with Landon Tewers, with mixing and mastering from Daniel Braunstein.[4] A 2020 article notes that Greyview was the group's first release since 2016's Stillworld, which was the last to feature singer Ben English.[5]
