The Zord burst from the hangar in a spray of gravel, its massive paws cratering the tarmac. It crouched low, those long canines catching the dying light like twin blades of pale gold. The enemy—a hulking mechanical beast with a carapace the size of a city bus—swung a fist that would have flattened a building.
