Jeff Buckley
American singer-songwriter known for the album Grace and his cover of 'Hallelujah'.

Jeffrey Scott Buckley was an American musician born on November 17, 1966, in Anaheim, California.[1] August 23, 1994, was the release date for Grace, his only studio album.[2]
Life and work
He began playing guitar at age five and decided to become a musician at age 12.[3] After high school, he attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood for one year.[4] In Los Angeles, he spent six years playing in various bands and touring with dancehall reggae artist Shinehead.[5] He moved to New York City in February 1990 and began performing solo at clubs and cafés, with Sin-é becoming his main venue.[1][6]
To promote Grace, Buckley engaged in international touring for the majority of 1994 and 1995.[7][8] Buckley's body was discovered on June 4, 1997; the official cause of death was accidental drowning, with no drugs or alcohol detected.[9][10]
