Triton of the Sea (海のトリトン, Umi no Toriton) is a 1969 Japanese manga series created by Osamu Tezuka for Kodansha. It was adapted into a 27-episode anime television series by the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino in his directorial debut, airing from April 1 to September 30, 1972. The story follows Triton, the last survivor of the Triton clan, as he seeks revenge against the Poseidon clan.
