André Peloffy
French forward, first France-born NHL player, 1988 Olympian.
André Charles Peloffy, a French forward, was the first native of France to skate in the NHL, logging nine games for the Washington Capitals in their debut season. He also appeared in ten WHA contests with the New England Whalers and later played at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
