Linus Caldwell
The young pickpocket out to prove himself to Danny's crew.
Linus Caldwell, played by Matt Damon, is a pickpocket and one of the two newcomers to Danny Ocean's crew. Danny saw his pickpocketing skills in Chicago and recruited him in person for an essential part of the Bellagio heist. He is the son of the legendary con artist Bobby Caldwell.

Ocean's Eleven
Linus is tasked with tracking Terry Benedict and discovers that Benedict is dating Danny's ex-wife, Tess. During the heist he infiltrates the casino posing as a state gaming official, meets Danny at the vault elevator and descends with him to the vault. He backs Danny up by bringing extra batteries for the remote explosive detonator, which turns out to be crucial.
Later films
Throughout the trilogy Linus tries to live up to his family's reputation and earn the crew's respect. In Ocean's Twelve he gets the chance to run the con when half the crew ends up in prison, and the American official who takes custody of the crew in Italy, Molly Starr, turns out to be his mother. In Ocean's Thirteen he offers to seduce Willy Bank's right-hand woman, Abigail Sponder, despite the team's doubts, and succeeds.
