Douglas Daniel Weight (born January 21, 1971) is an American former professional ice hockey player, coach, and current hockey operations adviser for the San Jose Sharks. He played as a center for 19 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, and New York Islanders.

Weight played three seasons for the Islanders, from 2008 to 2011. He was named captain of the Islanders on October 2, 2009. He announced his retirement following the 2010–11 season on May 26, 2011.
