John Tonelli

John Alexander Tonelli (born March 23, 1957) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward from Milton, Ontario. He played for the New York Islanders from 1978 to 1986, winning four Stanley Cups with the team, and also played for the Calgary Flames, Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks, and Quebec Nordiques.

Tonelli was a key part of the Islanders' dynasty, delivering the assist on Bob Nystrom's overtime goal that won the 1980 Stanley Cup Final. He was a second team All-Star left wing in 1982 and 1985. In 2020, the Islanders retired his #27 jersey and inducted him into the Islanders Hall of Fame.
