Gameplay
The game is controlled entirely through the analog sticks. The left analog stick is touch-sensitive; tapping, holding, or pressing it in various ways lets Nina walk, run, or evade. The right analog stick handles offensive moves. A notable feature is the ability to break enemies' bones with carefully aimed martial arts attacks, which deal extra damage and display the damage on the opponent's skeletal structure. However, enemies can still fight with shattered limbs or survive head blows. Completing the game unlocks Anna Mode, allowing play as Anna Williams. Unlockable outfits include a bikini, cocktail dress, purple jumpsuit, and black-and-silver stealth suit. A second playthrough makes LCD crates contain infinite weapons such as a katana and rail-gun. A third clear unlocks the wrestling costume from the opening FMV, and a fourth unlocks Tekken 2 Nina, a low-resolution version of her appearance from that game.
Plot
Nina Williams, a world-renowned assassin, is hired by the CIA and MI6 to infiltrate the criminal organization Kometa. The team plans to access Kometa through a fighting tournament aboard the luxury cruise ship Amphitrite. A leaked video showed a Kometa ship exploding in the Bermuda Triangle, and the organization is suspected of developing a superweapon after the Soviet Union's fall. Nina enters as a tournament competitor but is quickly captured. She receives word that her partners have failed, agent John Doe was killed by executive Edgar Grant, and she must now complete the mission alone. She fights through Kometa's forces, beginning with Bryce Adams, the bodyguard and lover of Lana Lei. Later, with help from MI6 agent Alan Smithee, she photographs a meeting of the directors.
