Disturb Magic
Urupen's counter-technique that scatters a spell before it can form.
Disturb Magic (Ran Ma) is a unique magic technique developed by the Dragon God Urupen. It interferes with another spell before its activation by introducing mana that disrupts its construction, causing the magic to lose its structure and preventing it from properly manifesting. Because the user's mana must reach the magic being formed, it has a limited effective range; it is economical in mana but demands precise mana control. It is first demonstrated in the main story by Orsted during his first battle against Rudeus, who then reproduced the principle by creating magic with one hand while interfering with it using the other, and later began teaching it to Sylphiette. Disturb Magic is extremely rare, and many magicians, even those who studied at Ranoa Magic Academy, are unfamiliar with it.
