Human-Demon Wars
Three wars between the Demon Race and the Human Race, the last of them Laplace's.
The Human-Demon Wars (Jinma Taisen) were three wars fought between the Demon Race and the Human Race. The first two, known as the Great Human-Demon Wars, were waged by the Great Demon Empress Kishirika Kishirisu; the third was waged by the Demon God Laplace in his own name and is called the Laplace War. The First Great Human-Demon War was fought 6,000 to 7,000 years before the main story, when Humans and Demons still lived on one landmass, the Great Continent; it lasted about a millennium and ended when the human hero Ars and his six comrades defeated the Five Great Demon Kings and Kishirika.
The Second, fought 5,000 to 4,200 years before the main story, ended when the dying Demon Dragon King Laplace's reincarnation magic went out of control and split the Great Continent into the Central Continent and the Demon Continent, forming the Ringus Sea. The Laplace War, 500 to 400 years before the main story, ended when the Seven Heroes sealed Laplace away, at the cost of four of their lives.
