Jacob Tyler Realmuto, born March 18, 1991 in Del City, Oklahoma, catches for the Philadelphia Phillies and came up with the Miami Marlins. He also plays for the United States internationally.

A shortstop at Carl Albert High School, where he helped win state titles in baseball and football, he was steered toward catching by a Marlins scout, and Miami took him in the third round of the 2010 draft; he passed on Oklahoma State to sign. He debuted in June 2014 after Jarrod Saltalamacchia's concussion and took over as starting catcher in 2015 when Saltalamacchia was designated for assignment. In 2018 he made his first All-Star team and won his first Silver Slugger. Miami traded him to Philadelphia in February 2019; that season he added another All-Star nod, a Silver Slugger and a Gold Glove, and in January 2021 he signed a five-year, $115.5 million deal, the biggest ever for a catcher.
