Miller played college basketball for the Florida Gators from 1998 to 2000, helping them reach the 2000 NCAA Championship game. He was selected fifth overall in the 2000 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. He played for the Magic, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat (2010–2013), Cleveland Cavaliers, and Denver Nuggets. He was a swingman known as a three-point specialist. After playing, he became an assistant coach at Memphis and later head coach at Houston High, leading them to a state championship in 2021. In 2020, he founded Let It Fly Team Sports Management.
